The following shows some of my RECENT experiences in the entertainment world. Each role has been extremely important for my career, since each one has contributed something unique to my personal and professional development. Panther Women: An Army for the Liberation
Cycle 1 (Cleveland 2018), Cycle 2 (Chicago 2020)
This play written and directed by India Nicole Burton, is about the pain, and hard times of not only, the women in the Black Panther Party, but black woman in general. Surrounding the lives of Angela Davis, Elaine Brown and Assata Shakur. I played Assata Shakur in Cycle 2.
Cleveland Public Theatre's "Entry Point" Festival
January 2019
Every year Cleveland Public Theatre hosts a festival that showcases 15 minutes of plays that are in the upcoming season, as well as, original works with a message. I acted in an original about Water. It highlighted the danger of unclean water in Northeast Ohio.
Silentious Scream
July 2018
This play written and directed by April Haugabrook-Goode highlighted the severity of mental health, abuse and the tragic consequences of a negligent family. I played main character, Byline.
Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare
Spring 2018
I played as "Juliet Capulet", the lovestruck 14 year old girl who falls in love with Romeo Montague. This beautifully written play ends in tragedy, as a result of, Their love being forbidden because of their families hate for one another.
Skin of our Teeth by Thornton Wilder
Fall 2018
I played the character,"Sabina" in this abstract expressionistic production. The world ended after each act. Sabina the maid, mistress and over dramatic damsel in distress ties the entire play together.
"For Colored Girls who have considered suicide when the rainbow is enuf" by Ntozake Shange
March 2017 and April 2018
A truly beautiful and healing experience preparing for this performance and whilst performing. I performed “No More Love Poems #2” and “Latent Rapist” at Cuyahoga Community College in 2017. I performed "Somebody almost walked off wid alla my stuff" at Kent State University in 2018.
